Steve Bryant contributes to the Jay & Randy Show immensely with hilarious phone calls, comedy bits and song parodies.  Currently living in Nashville Tennessee, he subscribes to both Sirius and XM satellite radio, yet prefers to listen to our 1000 watt daytime only radio station on the Internet.  For more information about Steve, check out his website www.stevebryant.tv.

History of the Morning Show

Scientists believe the morning show with Jay and Randy was probably formed when a meteor of indeterminate origin slammed into the Earth 65 million years ago.

The ensuing ice age wiped out the dinosaurs and cut deep chasms into what were to become the now familiar continents we know and love today.

A tiny fragment of meteor most likely contained the building blocks of drive-time radio life hidden in it’s craggy exterior.

When mixed with the Earth’s atmosphere rudimentary radio signals appeared.

Early man most likely used the WCHE studios for shelter from the elements.

Tribes of hunter/gatherers often used the production room as an early smoke house.

When Homo Sapiens and Neanderthals briefly coexisted it was the Neanderthals who worked the board for the morning show, but the Homo Sapiens who adjusted the transmitter.

In those slightly less enlightened times, morning show humor would often revolve around flatulence and cave drawings, unlike the intelligent radio we are accustomed to today.

During the Iron Age, WCHE received it’s first transmitter tower. That it still remains today, though does not broadcast as well, stands as a testament to its builders.

Though science and history back up the existence of WCHE, there are still those who put forth the ‘Intelligent Design Theory of WCHE’.

Scientists however, are quick to point out that if you listen to the morning show, you will immediately realize that intelligence has no place there.

End History of the Morning Show. Part One.
