About The Host

An attorney for the last twenty years, Michael P. Forbes has spent most of his professional career successfully representing clients in family law matters dealing with divorce and custody cases and consumer issues, such as; foreclosure defense, bankruptcy and defending client’s rights in violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act .

Attorney Forbes completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business, and received a Bachelors in Business Administration and graduated with Honors in 1984. He attended and graduated Widener School of Law in 1989 and opened the doors to his own law office immediately upon passing the Bar examination.

Mr. Forbes’ goal, is to reach as many people as possible to let them know that they do have some good options to combat collection agency bullies and correct inaccuracies that the credit reporting agencies report. People understand how they are being impacted, but they just don’t seem to think that they can do anything on their own behalf. The fact that in many cases, these people can be empowered and sue these entities is not a well-known option. They should know that there is a way to change the course of their lives and Attorney Forbes can alert them to how it can work in their favor.
