Singer, songwriter and producer, Mike Monroe, knows the Philadelphia music scene well.  As front-man for pop/rock group, Rivers Monroe, and co-owner of Matomik Productions and Recording Studios, he brings solid knowledge of the local and national music scene...  

Along with co-host, “Kung-Fu Kirby” and the beautiful and talented, “Brynnzer”, they look to bring new flavor and freshness to 'Sound Stage'... 

Emerging as one of Philadelphia's most popular new bands, Rivers Monroe is supported by an increasingly fervent local and national fan-base. Defined by their energetic, driving mainstream brand of music, flavored with a fresh, new, pop/rock and pop/punk mixture, they have captured the attention of thousands of listeners.  With their highly anticipated “Meteors” album about to be re-released, the Philadelphia-based band has exceeded all expectations with their collection of hook-driven and inspiring songs.

The group first formed when keyboardist/vocalist, Mat Rivers, joined long-time friend and lead-singer Mike Monroe. The two singer/songwriters teamed up with guitarist, Doc, bassist, Kirby and drummer, Dan, to fill out their new pop/rock, pop/punk sound, infused with energy and emotion.  Their poppy hooks, passionate lyrics and enthusiastic performances have landed them national tours and a number of sponsorships. The band has shared the stage with multiple national and platinum selling artists as well as TV and film placements.

Along with performing and touring, Mike also works with many local and national musicians as co-owner of Matomik Productions & Recording Studio, located near King of Prussia, Pa. The company was started by Mike Monroe and fellow band mate, Mat Rivers.  The two talented songwriters/producers had a vision of creating a studio and entertainment company that caters to all genres, musicians, artists and bands looking to record their music and follow their dreams, no matter what their experience level. The two take great pride in helping artists to achieve the best quality, radio-ready recordings possible.
