The Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is a childhood cancer foundation with a goal of raising funds for research and awareness of the disease. This past weekend students from Chesterbrook Academy Preschool took to the streets of West Chester selling pretzels and lemonade to raise funds for the organization. After a hard day of work, the West Chester preschoolers pulled in $330 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand. Not only did they get the satisfaction of raising money for a good cause at such a young age but they also got educated on cancer as well as its impact on the community.
